Within weeks, the two-year-old US Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is set to run out of funds, and Congress appears unlikely to authorize more. Even as many older and rural Americans may be thrust into financial hardship due to the ACP’s collapse, indigenous communities could fare even worse. Because tribal members can now work remotely, they are no longer forced to move away from their communities to seek opportunity, they told CNN. For example, Mitchell said, after decades of decline in Mohawk fluency, a growing number of tribal members are now involved in online language immersion. There are certain things the fashion industry will always love: The young and beautiful. By those metrics, Dan Colen is giving fashion a lot to love right now. A blue-chip artist represented by the mega-gallery Gagosian, he founded a farm called Sky High that donates 100 percent of its food to local pantries in upstate New York. Among the infamous work from that time were the “hamster nests” Mr. Colen created with Dash Snow. Snow ejaculated on newspapers while Ryan McGinley photographed the whole scene, including Mr. Colen’s oft-mentioned genitals.

Party of sevenOlen Netteburg (far left,) his wife Danae and their five children Lyol, Zane, Addison, Juniper, and Piper on the Continental Divide Trail. “We started reading some articles online to the kids about the Pacific Crest Trail and the Continental Divide Trail,” says Olen. Once things had settled down, they began reading up on “everything about having a baby in the wilderness” in order to be able to take on the Continental Divide Trail with their newborn. But having to carry a newborn along with them didn’t slow this hiking family down at all. In fact, they were able to complete Continental Divide Trail in six months, a month less time than the Appalachian Trail had taken them.

How Well Do You Know Your Baseball Hall of Famers?

There has always been an art to the language used on the plaques at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, N.Y. The language, however, has evolved over the years, from spartan descriptions in the early days to stat-stuffed entries in more recent years. The plaques for this year’s Hall of Famers, Scott Rolen and Fred McGriff, will be revealed this weekend, and they will surely tell tales of Rolen’s fielding prowess and McGriff’s consistent power. But how identifiable are other Hall of Famers based on what was written about them? To test that, we are asking you to pick the Hall of Famer based on how he is described in the first line of his plaque.

CNN —Citing a series of recent aviation safety incidents, the head of the Federal Aviation Administration has ordered a sweeping review of the agency. “We are experiencing the safest period in aviation history, but we cannot take this for granted,” Billy Nolen, the acting FAA administrator, wrote in a memo. One focus of the safety review team will be determining “whether there are other incidents that resemble ones we have seen in recent weeks.” It will also look at ways to better integrate the FAA’s air traffic control arm into the agency’s broader safety efforts. The review will include participants from the industries that are regulated and served by the FAA, Nolen wrote. “We know that our aviation system is changing dramatically.
